Public Affairs Office

The Public Affairs Office is the principal point of contact for GEMA / Homeland Security with the news media.
Actual and potential disaster situations compel our public affairs officers to provide accurate and timely information to the citizens of Georgia.

The Public Affairs Office advises the GEMA / Homeland Security Director and other Agency officials on all aspects of media relations and communications issues. The Public Affairs Office has several important functions within the division: constituent services, public affairs, legislative and multimedia support.
